Mayorboi is an Afropop and Afro-fusion singer-songwriter and performer whose music draws inspiration from his personal experiences and creative ability. His sound is influenced by the contemporary Afropop of Nigeria but he has remained unique, a quality that sets him apart from other artists. Mayorboi explores his songwriting skills in each of his songs as he fuses English, Pidgin English, Yoruba and Igbo Language to connect deeper with his wide audience, he is seeing no limitation, growing and becoming better day by day while aiming for the best.
Mayorboi, born Nwigwe Ernest Chibuzor started his music career in the creative city of Aba, Abia State in 2014. He is a graduate of Covenant Polytechnic, Owerrinta where he won as the best rapper in 2014. His first official EP; Afro Boy From The East of Naija (AFBEN) was released in 2020 and gained massive airplays from various radio stations in different cities of his home country_Nigeria while getting the attention of some music industry professionals who commends his style and passion.
Mayorboi is determined to ensure his music speaks his truth while its melodic eloquence and punchy delivery makes his listeners dance to the smooth and easy-going vibe of his music. Now he is set to drop his second EP titled 'On My Way', stay connected.

ON MY WAY explores the themes of love, passion and infused by Mayorboi's personal experiences and ambitions. There is every conviction from the title of the EP that Mayorboi is on his way to achieving greatness, success, victory and as such it has motivated the project being named to speak his vision into reality. As a gifted and one of the finest songwriters, Mayorboi has been able to blend diverse elements in delivering astonishing lyrics in captivating melodies which every listener is assured to enjoy and groove with. With his first project, "Afroboy From The East of Naija" we were able to hear Mayorboi's enchanting vocals swinging through magical chords throughout the EP and now in his second studio EP, we are set to experience the grow of this artist who is in no doubt set for the big stage with this quality and outstanding project.

ON MY WAY is the second project from Mayorboi; a multi-talented Afropop and Afrofusion singer, songwriter and performer based in Lagos, Nigeria. With the release of Peperempe which is the lead single from the EP, Mayorboi has given us a tip of the iceberg as to what his music is about. All songs in this project are written and performed by Mayorboi and featured artistes on their respective tracks. ON MY WAY is produced by Signechor Vybez and with Guitar Performances by Joshua Moszi; a Ghanaian Grammy Award Winning Multi-Instrumentalist whose associated acts includes but not limited to Burnaboy, Davido, Stonebowy, Black Sheriff and many more.
The EP opens with Zero Joy featuring Jenics and followed by Location, Set Me On Fire, Peperempe and On My Way featuring Dj Spicyklef which is the single that gave the name to his second official project being released under his indie-label Golden Music in partnership with Sound of Heartbeatx which is affiliated with Star Makers Distribution.
